Repository and Sharing Policy
Last updated: September, 2024
I. Purpose and Commitment
Acadlore Publishing Services (“Acadlore”) is committed to the rapid, wide, and responsible dissemination of research.
To maximize visibility and accessibility, authors may share and deposit different versions of their manuscripts in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license and international open-access best practices.
Under CC BY 4.0, anyone may use, distribute, and adapt the work for commercial or non-commercial purposes, provided that:
• proper attribution is given to the original authors;
• a link to the license is provided; and
• any changes are clearly indicated.
II. DOI and Version of Record
Each Acadlore article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure a permanent and citable link to its Version of Record (VoR).
Authors and readers are encouraged to share the DOI link (e.g., https://doi.org/10.xxxx/xxxxxxx), as it will always direct to the current and authoritative version.
III. Manuscript Version Definitions
| Version | Definition |
|---|---|
| Submitted Version (Preprint) | The original manuscript submitted to Acadlore before peer review. |
| Accepted Version (Postprint) | The author-accepted manuscript after peer review, including revisions but before copyediting and typesetting. |
| Published Version (Version of Record) | The final formatted version published by Acadlore after copyediting, language editing, and proofreading. |

V. Attribution and Citation Requirements
When sharing any version, authors must include:
• the DOI link to the Version of Record; and
• a clear version statement, such as:
-This is the submitted manuscript currently under peer review.
-This is the author-accepted version (postprint) that may differ from the final published version.
-This is the Version of Record published in [Journal Name]. DOI: https://doi.org/10.56578/xxxxxxx.
The VoR must not be altered or abridged in a way that misrepresents the original publication.
VI. Repositories and Metadata
Acadlore supports responsible deposit in institutional and subject repositories. Authors should ensure accurate metadata and DOI links so that readers can find the authoritative Version of Record.
VII. Commercial Use and Redistribution (CC BY 4.0)
All open-access content from Acadlore is published under CC BY 4.0. Commercial and non-commercial reuse is permitted with proper attribution, a link to the license, and indication of changes.
For content not under CC BY (e.g., co-published or restricted materials), permission is required: info@acadlore.com.
VIII. Policy Updates
This policy is reviewed periodically to reflect changes in licensing standards, legal requirements, and best publishing practice. Please consult the Acadlore website for the latest version.
